Segundo a Ambiental, empresa respons\u00e1vel pela coleta de lixo, somente nos \u00faltimos tr\u00eas meses, de dezembro de 2025 a fevereiro de 2026, foram registradas oito ocorr\u00eancias, n\u00famero pr\u00f3ximo ao total contabilizado em todo o ano de 2025, quando houve nove casos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diante desse cen\u00e1rio, a Ambiental alerta a popula\u00e7\u00e3o para a import\u00e2ncia do descarte correto desses materiais, especialmente os utilizados em tratamentos injet\u00e1veis, como as canetas para emagrecimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMuitos dos acidentes registrados com trabalhadores da coleta de res\u00edduos est\u00e3o relacionados ao descarte inadequado de agulhas no lixo comum ou recicl\u00e1vel. As agulhas, seringas, lancetas e demais objetos perfurocortantes, incluindo agulhas de insulina, n\u00e3o devem ser descartados no lixo dom\u00e9stico, mesmo que estejam protegidos por sacos pl\u00e1sticos ou embalagens. O descarte inadequado compromete a seguran\u00e7a dos trabalhadores, gerando perfura\u00e7\u00f5es e contamina\u00e7\u00f5es\u201d, destaca Juliana Ramos, gerente da Ambiental Itaja\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ap\u00f3s o uso da agulha ou seringa, esse material deve ser armazenado em um recipiente r\u00edgido, como uma garrafa PET, devidamente fechada. Em seguida, o material deve ser entregue na Unidade B\u00e1sica de Sa\u00fade (UBS) mais pr\u00f3xima da resid\u00eancia do usu\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c9 importante destacar que todo res\u00edduo de servi\u00e7o de sa\u00fade precisa passar por tratamento espec\u00edfico, conforme normas sanit\u00e1rias vigentes.
